Every year we try to improve our mentoring program, making it more fun, supportive and engaging. This coming year we will be changing the location and time of our first on-site meet up in order to accommodate more people. We will also be making this an open activity, in order to include anyone interested in meeting a mentor, not just those that pre-register for mentoring. We would also like to use this forum as a means for mentors to introduce themselves and provide some information about their "specialty" ie: large families, teens, transitioning from public school, single parenting, etc. or anything you are willing and able to offer advice and support for. Please introduce yourself and then browse through the "mentees" section to see if there are any families that you feel are a good match for you. By posting in this forum you may be able to post information that is helpful to multiple families. If you would like to, you can set up more private correspondence with any mentees you meet here. You can mentor as many families as you feel comfortable with and answer questions on any thread.
