Hi all, it's time again for our annual UWG Nerf Funshop! Here is the lowdown for this year. The Nerf War is a fun, family friendly event open to all ages. However, do to the nature of Nerf, all participants will be shot. All participants must agree to the rules, including what to do when you are shot. If you do not acknowledge the posted rules you will be asked to leave the playing area. Dart Procedure: We will be providing standard size darts for use within the playing area only. No darts will leave the playing area, if you bring darts to the Funshop they will be considered a donation. Balls/disks/arrows/megas are NOT allowed. What to bring: Red and/or blue tee-shirt for team identification. LABELED Nerf blaster firing standard size darts only. Safety glasses, they are required for play. A limited number of glasses will be for sale at the conference. What NOT to bring: DARTS. Darts are supplied by the host, if you bring darts into the playing area it will be considered a donation. Disks/balls/arrows, swords, or other weapons. Heavily modified blasters. Anything painted entirely black. Blasters must have an orange tip. Soo... Why aren't all black blasters allowed? Just wondering. I don't have any, but I can't see the reason behind it. ALSO... I think you missed something. I remember this being one of the rules last year, DO NOT SHOOT STRAIGHT UP. What goes up must come down and we don't want it to come down on top of the lights.
